The Binaal Billa Family Violence Prevention Legal Service unit provides free legal advice and representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence and sexual assault and related areas of law. The organisation is auspiced by Yoorana Gunya Family Violence Healing Centre and is a non-government organisation funded by Attorney General\'s Department.
The BBFVLS unit is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Counsellor to join a challenging, yet rewarding work environment. The position is based in Forbes and will require regular travel throughout our service area which covers Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Griffith, Leeton, West Wyalong, Cowra, Parkes and Peak Hill.
You will deal with a wide range of stakeholders across the public and private sector and draw upon strong analytical, communication and people skills to achieve desired objectives.
This is a part-time position (max 28hr/wk) and job-share will be considered for suitable applicants.
